Valarie's Animal Den Receives 2009 Best of Washington Award U.S. Commerce Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement

WASHINGTON D.C., June 8, 2009 -- Valarie's Animal Den has been selected for the 2009 Best of Washington Award in the Pet Washing & Grooming category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA). The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USCA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A LOVE AFFAIR FOR DOGS & CATS SINCE THE AGE OF THREE.

How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
WE CATER TO OUR CUSTOMERS NEEDS AND DESIRES, AND WILL GO THAT EXTRA MILE TO MAKE OUR CUSTOMERS SATISFIED.

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
PRESENTLY WE HAVE ONE LOCATION AND IF THE THE BUSINESS DEMANDS IT, THEN EXPANSION WILL COME.

A CUSTOMER CAN COME FROM ANY LOCATION TO RECEIVE OUR SERVICES. WE HAVE HAD VISTORS TO OUR CITY DROP THEIR PETS OFF FOR GROOMING & BOARDING WHILE THEY ARE OUT SITE SEEING.

WE ARE OPEN MON - SATURDAY FROM 9AM-6PM. MONDAY BY ADVANCED APPOINTMENTS ONLY. IF PICKING UP OR DROPPING OFF FOR BOARDING ON SUNDAYS & HOLIDAYS, THERE WILL BE A SURCHARGED IMPOSED.
